A Reasonably Necessary World Computer
Ethereum has unique properties no other platform can replicate: permissionless access, censorship resistance and credible neutrality. To have the largest impact on the world, we need to leverage these where they matter most. This talk applies a "reasonably necessary" test to three frontiers — programmable markets, capture-resistant coordination, and agent economies — offering builders a framework for finding the use cases where Ethereum has irreplaceable impact.
Building Credit Markets at Internet Speed
The internet transformed information, commerce, and software. Why has credit remained so difficult to scale? In this presentation, Stani Kulechov explores the next evolution of financial infrastructure, the challenges of building internet-native credit, and what it will take to create credit markets that move at the speed of the internet.

Financial Privacy: The Missing Layer of Institutional Onchain Finance
Money has been private by default for 5,000 years. Counterparties see their leg of a trade, regulators see what they need, the public sees aggregated reports on schedule. Blockchains inverted that: every transaction is now public to everyone, forever. This talk argues financial privacy is not a feature but the missing layer of the institutional onchain stack, and that the cryptography to solve it is production-ready today.

Blockchains Are Central to the Future of Finance and Agentic AI
Cypherpunk is dead. Long live cypherpunk.
To keep Ethereum sustainable, we have to keep its funding sustainable. This talk explores why preserving Ethereum's core properties depends on solving the funding problem underneath them. As the Ethereum Foundation's role narrows, the ecosystem needs new, decentralized models of coordination that don't depend on token sales or one-time donations. It shows how decentralized, yield-based funding can sustain the ecosystem's growth in perpetuity, creating a durable, neutral foundation that works for institutions and individuals alike — a genuine win-win for the whole network.
Institutional Adoption and the Importance of Code Neutrality
As digital assets move into institutional infrastructure, governance is becoming as important as technology. This fireside chat will explore how enterprises and financial institutions evaluate blockchain infrastructure, why open source alone is not enough, and how code neutrality can reduce dependency risk and build long-term trust.
Agents Need Mandates, Not Keys; Enforceable Guardrails for Agentic Finance
Agents will increasingly manage money on behalf of users, but giving them raw keys creates too much risk and too little control. Ymax shows how user mandates, enforced by smart contracts and orchestration, create the trust layer needed to safely unleash agents across onchain finance.

Onchain privacy for institutions
Most privacy solutions in crypto come with a tradeoff: they protect data, but at the cost of the very transparency that makes blockchains valuable. This conversation will unpack privacy as a spectrum and make the case for a “transparency-first” foundation: open base layers that preserve interoperability and trust, paired with modular, opt-in privacy at the application layer and why this approach is critical for institutional adoption.

Ethereum in the Decade of Adoption
The first decade of smart contract blockchains was all about infrastructure. Now the decade of real world adoption has begun. Ethereum maintained its technological leadership role during the first phase - how will that role now have to change?
Proof Over Promises
Privacy coins helped move zero-knowledge technology (ZK) from the fringes of Web3 to the centre of the crypto industry. Attendees will come away understanding that privacy is only one piece of the puzzle. ZK can be used to build systems where actions are gated by cryptographically verifiable rules, allowing identity, permissions, and policy compliance to be proven without exposing sensitive information. This opens the door to more secure and auditable systems across finance, AI, identity, and enterprise operations.
Building Superagents: Wallets, Tools & Living Datasets

Using LLM-generated formal specs to prevent the next DeFi Hack
LLMs are getting better at finding critical bugs, and so are hackers. Every new model release accelerates an arms race between devs and hackers, one that seems impossible to win on the open, immutable code of Ethereum. We propose using LLMs to protect devs against LLM-powered attacks. The key insight is that devs think about how a protocol should behave, while hackers think about how to break it. LLMs can bridge this gap by converting informal developer intent into formal specifications.

An onchain alternative to global transaction banking
Traditional banks process quadrillions in payments via global transaction banking. Shifting geopolitics and federal reserve policies are creating an opportunity for disruption by stablecoins and on-chain liquidity. Erbil Karaman explains how the Fortune 500 is building their own alternatives to global transaction banking on top of regulated stablecoins, vaults and liquidity services.
Why Institutional Custody Breaks on Shielded Chains
Privacy is becoming a priority across crypto. Zcash, Aztec, Aleo, Miden, and Midnight use client-side ZK proofs for shielded transactions. Ethereum is moving toward wallet-level privacy as the default. But there's a problem nobody is discussing: on most shielded protocols, the ZK proof is the spend authorization. There is no separate signature to threshold. Until we can distribute proof generation itself, institutional custody of shielded assets is structurally impossible.
